About Us
Our History
Taylor Financial started a client appreciation event called Corks & Dorks back in early 2019. The CEO of the company, Adam Taylor, has a background in the hospitality field and became a Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers back in 2005. His passion for wine and continued education led to entertain clients around wine and financial education.
Adam and Robin Weston met through the local business community and the two immediately started brainstorming of the next chapter. Robin's knowledge around the spirit industry plus the success of Corks and Dorks ultimately led to the creation of Bourbon and Brains. We are excited to announce our first event will be in the middle of November 2019.

Robin has 20 years of experience in Sales Partnership Program Management in IT and Telecommunications. In 2019, he took the leap and launched his consulting business, Compendium Communications. He’s now a broker and a single source for IT, Cybersecurity, Internet, VOIP and Cloud solutions for Tampa Bay area businesses and nonprofits.
He’s also kind of obsessed with Whisk(e)y…Bourbon in particular. Multiple visits to distilleries in Louisville, KY, tastings directly from the barrel there and whisk(e)y community events in Tampa have only fueled that passion.
